AROUND 2017, A FATHER OF TWO STUDENT-ATHLETES HAD A PROBLEM.
Like many other families today, pursuing Ice Hockey through Highschool and beyond was a mystery. He knew that his sons had to go to North America for a bigger stage, but he didn't know where to start.
After a journey full of uncertainty and discovery, he founded a company to help the next generation of student-athlete families like his.
This is the story of our Founder, Thomas Kim.
In Asia, there are a small number of games in the Hockey scene, compared to the demand. Aspiring Asian parents/players want hockey, but there is no league, few tournaments, and few game opportunities.
Forced into a rigid schedule of games, not designed for student-athlete development. Junior players have to on their own effectively manage their time at best, without prior experience of doing so.
Lack of consistency of games throughout the season, because there is no youth hockey league, but only short tournaments. With limited time for growth between games, players often experience burnout and slower long-term progress.
Asian parents and players often lack knowledge about North American youth hockey leagues before arriving. They have little information on how the system works, what a proper student-athlete prepares, the environment they would be thrown to.
